these are some from the river on a grey morning, a nice grey, me on the rocks risking life and limb to capture some nice pictures. I think this is a different morning with a very nice yellow glow. by the fish quay.

this is from the other morning, one of the nice things about winter approaching is that you can have a little lie in and still catch the sunrise. Before the sun rises Venus (I think it's Venus) is very bright in the south. this is a branch on a tree in Saltwell park. I used to take my kids there often and was taken there as a child. Apparently I was a nasty child and tried to stamp on frogs while there or so may parents told me and why would they lie?
Not everyone likes the Angel of the North,then again not everyone likes Kate Bush (Heather thinks she is a bit of a wailing banshee): I like them both myself, but in different ways, of course.
