as the song says what a difference a day makes! two of the same but one day apart, from the now defunct Sansung camera which I dropped in the river! by mistake of course!

a couple of photos from a recent trip to the Lake district. I like this tree and its shadow; a duck had just swum by causing the ripples. this bird was in a tree being harassed by much smaller blackbirds just caught it but have no idea what it is.
morning is my best time, I like this misty lake, it's Windermere which is usually a bit busy but this was early and there was hardly anyone around.
